Not going to lie, I one-hundred percent went into this audiobook expecting to come out more productive with minimal effort. Alas, I was disappointed.
The most productive thing I did from this book was finish this book…. aside from that everything else was way too much effort. This guide was essentially a compilation of many tips I have heard elsewhere and recommendations for things I don’t want to do (like cutting down on caffeine).
It did suggest some things I am willing to try in the future when I am not quite so busy, like meditation, but that won’t help me be productive right now. I am the epitome of lazy as it has taken me a month to even write this review!
While the author is intelligent and knows his stuff, his voice is soft and kind of sleep inducing, in the best possible way. It just made it hard to listen to this book while being awake and working at the same time. Overall, it had no lasting effect on me.
