“Tough Tug is a brand-new boat. He likes to swirl and twirl—and run and race. He wants everyone to see what he can do. But when he sails to Alaska for the first time, he finds out what being a tug really means…”

I am usually in the market for a good children’s book for my nieces and nephews, but this one was not up to snuff. The message was minimally introduced, to help others, but the text just wasn’t right for me. I prefer children’s books that have more rhyme to them and this one was lacking in that department. The illustrations were cute, but I would not have paid for this book. I look for more STEM-related books, particularly for my nieces and this did not have any message encouraging on that front.
