THE EXPLORING MY BOOKS TOPIC THIS WEEK IS

A book I intended to read in 2016, but didn’t get to

This list is very long! There are many, many books I bought and intended to read in 2016. The stack below illustrates this! One in particular that I wanted to read in 2016 is A Court of Thorns and Roses by Sarah J. Maas. I have only ever heard wonderful things about this series and bought both this book and the sequel before tasting the book. It is one that is at the top of my list for 2017 though!

A Court of Thorns and Roses BY Sarah J. Maas

From Goodreads

“When nineteen-year-old huntress Feyre kills a wolf in the woods, a beast-like creature arrives to demand retribution for it. Dragged to a treacherous magical land she only knows about from legends, Feyre discovers that her captor is not an animal, but Tamlin—one of the lethal, immortal faeries who once ruled their world.

As she dwells on his estate, her feelings for Tamlin transform from icy hostility into a fiery passion that burns through every lie and warning she’s been told about the beautiful, dangerous world of the Fae. But an ancient, wicked shadow grows over the faerie lands, and Feyre must find a way to stop it . . . or doom Tamlin—and his world—forever.”

  1. Post a picture of your bookshelf (preferably literal, but e-shelves work too).
  2. We’ll give you something about your shelf to write about. It might be your favourite cover, your favourite author, your book you most recently bought etc.
  3. Then give us the blurb and the cover of the book (and what you thought of it if you’ve read it)
  4. And finally, come back to one of our posts and send us a link! We promise to check out all of your posts!
