I adored this romance, it was definitely more risque and unconventional than your typical historical romance. It was refreshing to have such a unique plot within a regency romance. Minerva is a wonderful protagonist. She is a fun and bold character who is not ashamed of her intelligence in a male dominant society. Her counterpart, Ashebury was also a great character. He is a strong, attractive male with a fault that hurts is pride. When he finally accepts himself and his feelings everything works out for the better, and I get my happy ending.
