REVIEW
What drew me to this comic was the beautifully illustrated cover, I didn’t even bother to read the description before I requested this one… I probably should have though. While I was thoroughly impressed with the artwork, I felt the story was lacking. Every page was full of great illustrations, I particularly love the way the tiger is drawn and colored. I wasn’t enthralled by the story itself, it was rushed, as many graphic novels tend to be, and it was not well explained. As it is introducing a new magic to a new audience, it should have been more deeply explained. I feel that there could have been more description and development of the characters themselves as well. It may be a matter of this book and me not being compatible, although I commend the art.
