Honestly, I tend to avoid contemporary romance, particularly adult contemporary romance, but wow, I enjoyed this book. I am hooked and eager for the sequels. Don’t get me wrong it has some flaws, but it was a very intriguing story. I picked this book up (bought the e-book) because I have read the historical romances also written by this author. Plus I met Lauren Smith last year at an astronomy camp in Tuscan. I really liked her historical romances, so I thought I’d give a contemporary a try, plus it was only $0.99 on the Google Play store.
While the entire story line and the characters’ emotions were very intense and rushed, it was a fun, quick read. It has definitely encouraged me to go to school in England to try my luck with love there!
