AS I AM NOW CO-HOSTING EXPLORING MY BOOKS WITH ADDLEPATES AND BOOK NERDS, OUR TOPIC THIS WEEK IS

A book that doesn’t quite fit on your shelf.

As you know I don’t actually have shelves anymore for my books. Too many shelves took up too much space which led to me getting rid of the multiple shelves and instead just stacking my books. I have a lot of books, and there are quite a few that don’t quite fit in, both topic wise and size wise. One in particular is Lighthouses of America by Al Mitchell it is a clunky coffee table book that was my mom’s and then happened to fall into my hands. While lighthouses are not really my thing, I do like the scenic images within the book. Because of the size of it, I had to place it on the bottom of a very large stack of books. I also was not able to fish it out to show the entire cover.

To participate in the Exploring Your Bookshelf meme hosted by Addlepates and Bookworms and myself, here’s what you do:

  1. Post a picture of your bookshelf (preferably literal, but e-shelves work too).
  2. We’ll give you something about your shelf to write about. It might be your favourite cover, your favourite author, your book you most recently bought etc.
  3. Then give us the blurb and the cover of the book (and what you thought of it if you’ve read it)
  4. And finally, come back to one of our posts and send us a link! We promise to check out all of your posts!
