Unfortunately I’ve reached the end of my Throwback Thursdays. I have participated in this meme since March and have since recommended many wonderful stories that I’ve re-read over the years. As I continually struggle to find more books to give a throwback to, I’ve decided that this is my final throwback post, at least for a while. Perhaps after I have had some time to reread more books I’ll reconsider starting this meme up again.

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows

BY J.K. Rowling

“Harry is waiting in Privet Drive. The Order of the Phoenix is coming to escort him safely away without Voldemort and his supporters knowing – if they can. But what will Harry do then? How can he fulfil the momentous and seemingly impossible task that Professor Dumbledore has left him?” –Goodreads

As this is my final Throwback Thursday, at least for a while, I’ve decided to end this saga of posting with the book that concluded the saga of my childhood. Harry Potter has always been a comfort read to me, and while Deathly Hallows is not my favorite of the series, it still has a special place in my heart.

This meme is hosted by Casual Reader. Here are the rules:

  1. Feature a book that was published more than a year ago, the older the better.
  2. It must be a book that you have re-read at least once.
  3. Explain to your readers why this book is worth reading over and over again.
  4. Tag four people in your post to share their favorite throwback the following week.
