Pride and Prejudice

Jane Austenpride-and-prejudice
The first time I read Pride & Prejudice was my freshman year of high school, and since then I had forgotten many of the details (except those that are present in the 2005 film adaptation starring Kiera Knightly). Rereading the story this year made me fall in love with the characters all over again. It also made me realize that the Bingley sisters are much more irritating in the books than the one sister present in the movie. As soon as I finished rereading the book, I watched the movie again, and while I noticed all the differences between the two, I acknowledge that the changes were probably necessary. Another note I must make is that I love the actor who plays Mr. Darcy. He is my dream man because his voice is entrancing. I generally avoid reading classic novels and instead, just collect them, but this one is definitely one to read. I love the story so much and the writing style as well.
